The island, called Wonsan-do Island because of its high mountains and hills, was once called Gomando Island or Gorando Island, and in Chungnam, it is the second largest island after Anmyeondo Island.
Two-thirds of the residents are engaged in fishing, one-third are engaged in agriculture, and more than 1,360 people live in 480 households, about 11km from Daecheon Port and about 30 minutes by ferry.

In addition, Wonsan-do Island is well-developed along the long coastline around the island, so you can easily catch sea urchins, rockfish, and flesh-eating sea bream by hanging fishing rods anywhere, including well-developed reefs, suitable depths, and vast female fields here and there.
