Boryeong Energy World is a public relations exhibition hall of Boryeong Thermal Power Headquarters, the largest thermal power generation complex in Korea, and is a comprehensive electric energy experience hall where you can learn how to use the electricity we use every day.

Coal-fired power plants are essential facilities in our lives that produce a large amount of low-cost and high-quality electricity. In particular, the Boryeong Thermal Power Headquarters, as the first standard coal-fired power plant in Korea, has become a sample of all coal-fired power plants in Korea and is a large-scale electricity generation base that accounts for 8% of all domestic power generation facilities.

The Boryeong Thermal Power Headquarters has been a major driver of Korea's economic development since the 1970s and will continue to play a role by continuously building new power plants.

At Boryeong Energy World, you will see a mysterious process in which a small piece of coal transforms into electric energy with great power that lights up the whole world.

친환경적인 에너지월드 운영을 위하여 관내에서 사용되는 전력을 에너지월드 내 외부에 설치된 신재생에너지 설비에서 공급하도록 설계하였습니다.
에너지월드의 신재생에너지 설비는 온실가스 배출없는 친환경 미래에너지를 만들어가는 한국중부발전의 자랑입니다.

관람시 유의사항
- 에너지월드 내의 모든 공간은 금연입니다.
- 전시관 내부에 음식물 반입과 안내견 이외의 애완동물 출입은 금지되어 있습니다.
- 전시실 입장 전 다른 관람객을 위해 휴대전화는 진동으로 전환해 주시기바랍니다.
- 체험전시물을 제외한 나머지 전시물은 눈으로 감상해 주시기 바랍니다.
