Mugunghwa Arboretum is located on the right side after passing Seongju Tunnel. Located at the foot of Seongju Mountain, which is called Boryeong's lungs, it is the best place to spend a leisurely and healthy time with the clear air of Seongju Mountain and various plants. It serves as the preservation of genetic resources of the trees at the Mugunghwa Arboretum, increasing the value of plant resources, and preservation management, and is also decorated as a place for cultural experience learning and environmental ecology education.
In addition, it was created as a story-themed arboretum by collecting, proliferating, preserving, and displaying tree genetic resources centered on Mugunghwa, and securing research infrastructure for its resource conversion.
