Ocheon is the important city for the native in northern area of Boryeong. Hear is saying that 'All roads lead to Ocheon". There are three entrances to Ocheon, Joo-po, Joo-kyu, Cheong-so. Thought this word becomes an old saying, Ocheon is still an important fishing port here in Cheonsoo bay.

Ocheon Port is blessed with nature to be a good Port. Its landlocked bay doesn't require breakwater for the anchoring. Along with coastline, many fishing boats anchored. Every beginning day and 6th day in month, there is fishing market.

You can encounter many fresh marine products. Shellfish, diver catch under the bottom of sea, is the indigenous to Ocheonn, and fist-size hard-shelled mussels are also famous products here.
